The Purist Villas and Spa - Various pools and water features surrounded by tropical gardens offer an intimate and relaxed setting in a secluded oasis only minutes away from the Ubud bustle.
The Purist Villas and Spa are located behind Kutuh Kaja, a rustic, rural village surrounded by rice paddies and walking distance from the centre of Ubud. Here you can experience traditional Balinese life.
The Villas
The Garden villa - This villa with pool has a modern Balinese style, and is surrounded by bamboo walls and a tropical garden. It has a king size bed with a fantastic view through a whole wall of glass doors which can be opened completely, and is leading directly onto this pool with sundeck and two double sun loungers. The limestone bathroom has a stone bathtub and half open air shower room.
Timor villa - This is a large antique wooden house from the island of Timor. It has been completely renovated with modern features for optimum comfort. It has a master bedroom with four-poster king size bed and a separate living room that is big enough for a single bed. One side of the living room has doors that open onto a big sundeck with views over the lush tropical reserve and “The Purist villas” situated on the lower levels of the estate. A small path leads you directly to the huge main pool of THE PURIST.
River villa 1, River villa 2 - This villa is in size identical to “River villa 2. They both have a sophisticated minimal design and are decorated with Balinese artefacts and objects. River villa 1 has a king size bed. The ensuite circle shaped bathroom make you feel like you are in your own spa. One part is half-open . It has a separate shower and features a stone bathtub. The bedroom has its own sundeck with impressive views to huge palm trees.
Jungle villa - This modern Balinese style villa is located on the other side of the main pool and has direct access to this pool alongside the river running through the estate. It overlooks the lush jungle on the other side of the river deep below and therefore you enjoy the sound of flowing water.
Bamboo villa - This villa has its own pool with a waterfall to the lower level where the Spa and Yoga buildings are situated. It comprises of a master bedroom with four-poster king size bed. It also has a small living area with an extra sofa bed. This is partly-separated from the bedroom by a bookcase. Therefore this villa can sleep up to three people.
Hill VIlla - This big wooden antique house from the island of Timor has been completely redesigned and is laid out over two floors. On the lower level, there is grey pebble stone flooring and the walls are a mix of wood and beige limestone. Here you will find the twin bedroom which easily can be turned into a second bedroom with king size bed. This room can also be used as the perfect spot for a siesta as the room has glass doors which open up directly onto the pool area.
