Villa Lumbung is located 5km north-west of Legian/Kuta, perfectly situated to enjoy your holiday in quietness and tranquility, but only an inexpensive taxi-ride away from the shopping and entertainment places of this pulsing tourist center.
A quiet beach is about 800 metres away.

The idea to build the Hotel Vila Lumbung originated from the need to find the right place for close friends, who make the long journey from the west, and who wish to find the best accommodation with an exotic flair.

The Hotel Vila Lumbung is a small exotic village surrounded by masterly designed tropical gardens ofapproximately 20,000 square-meters. The special shape of the grass-roof villas is derived from the typical Balinese "Lumbung". The upper part of this center hut of each family compound serves as a rice barn, while the lower floor - an elevated sitting area ("Balé") - is used as a meeting place.

Guests will find all the best comforts and services ensured by a well trained house-hold staff.
This concept has been transformed into a unique design . While the dome-shaped grass roof-top of the upper floors conveys a spacious and tropical feeling, the ground floor's Balé is made into a cozy retreat next to the garden.

The rooms
Our garden and rooftop rooms have all cozy and comfortable elevated lounging areas and terraces for private breakfast or dining. While your eyes can rest, enjoying the lush surrounding gardens, tastefully selected furniture will make you feel at home. All guestrooms have spacious bathrooms with shower and/or bath, mini bar and refrigerator, in-room safe, coffee/tea maker, color TV set with satellite channels, telephone with IDD-facilities and individually controlled A/C.

Room Minimalist yet stunning, the newly opened Superior Room offer a perfect combination between modern chic and Balinese style, furnished with fine designed of dark brown furniture which creates a calm ambience.

The newest 36 Superior Room are located in a 3-storey building that is uniquely angled overlooking lush tropical garden and swimming pool. Each room is 40, 5 square meters in size and furnished with either a king bed or twin bed that accommodates up to 2 adults. A baby cot will provided upon request on complimentary.

Each Deluxe Rooftop Floor Room has twin or double beds, a private balcony with great views on the tropical gardens and an in-door "Bale". All rooftop floor rooms can accommodate single, double/twin and/or triple occupancy as well as families with children. As the Bale is inside and integrated as part of the room, it can function as a day bed or bed for children and/or an extra person. In this case, bed sheets and pillows will be provided.

Each Deluxe Garden Floor Room has twin or double beds, a large garden bathroom with separate shower and bath, a large private terrace and is surrounded by masterly designed lush tropical gardens. The day- bed or Bale is inside and integrated as part of the room. As with the roof top floor rooms this can be used as a bed for children or for an extra person. From the rooms of this category some are provided with a fully equipped kitchen.

Each of our 3-bedrooms Deluxe Villas is ideal for families or close friends. They have a large terrace and a living room with an adjacent fully equipped kitchen. Masterbedroom and -bathroom have access to a private garden. You will feel at home in these beautifully designed and decorated villas where love for detail is so obvious.
