The antique ‘joglo’ is the centerpiece of this magnificent property. The Joglo was originally located in Demak, Central Java, an area famous for its skilled artisans who spent their days intricately carving fine timber houses. Destined to be demolished, the owners rescued it and waited until the perfect site was available to rebuild.

Transporting each piece to Bali, the Joglo was transformed as the social centrepiece of what has become one of the most unique properties on the island, steeped in time honored tradition.

Villa Des Indes Accomodations
Villa Des Indes comprises four individual structures, three residences centered around the elegant Joglo, the social hub. With three separate and secluded bungalows, Villa Des Indes will provide you and your guests with a unique Bali experience.

Set in a shady lane named Astinapura (or ‘throne of the gods’) directly off Jalan Laksmana and a stone’s throw from the Indian Ocean, Villa Des Indes offers complete privacy, keeping the outside world at a discreet distance. You can choose to experience the high living of Seminyak with its elegant restaurants, bars and designer shopping areas or relax in style and luxury in the villa.

Guests enter Villa Des Indes through a large antique Chinese wooden door to be met by a personal butler who will cater for your every need. Fully staffed in five star style, stepping over the threshold you will enter a world of unsurpassed Asian luxury.

Private butlers, waiting staff and a resident chef ensure every need is met whilst maintaining privacy and making you feel like you’ve been transported to a gentler, more civilized era.

The Joglo
The Joglo is a peaceful centerpiece, an open-air living area that appears to be floating on water, surrounded by a 21-meter lagoon swimming pool that curves amidst the orchids and frangipanis. Complete with a table for fine dining set with antique cutlery and crockery, a relaxing lounge with plantation chairs in which you can while the evening away and comfortable corners to curl up in with an interesting book, the joglo typifies the best in tropical Asian luxury.

The Villa Des Indes Residence
The Villa Des Indes Private Residence is made up of two colonial individual villas, Villa Des Indes I and II which can be rented out as a 2, 3 or 5 bedroom residence. A small gangway and private entrances separate the two colonial villas.

Dinning
Dining at Villa Des Indes can be as grandiose or as relaxed as you decide. There are several areas to suit your mood from the formal dining table set with antique English silver cutlery and candelabra to a relaxing lunch in the shaded bale.

One of the Villa’s signature services is sunset cocktails in the Joglo or upper level living room with a selection of tempting tapas. All meals are served by your attentive staff who are at hand to top up your glass anytime!

High Season : July 01st - 31st, September 1st - 15th, Chinese New Year & Easter Week
Peak Season : August 1st - 31st, December 20th - January 10th

• Currency : US$ Dollar.
• All rates incur an extra 5% Service Charge and 10% Government Tax.
• All rates include Full Breakfasts and return airport transfers.
• Payments by credit card will be invoiced in Indonesian Rupiah at the prevailing exchange rate, in accordance with Indonesian Government Regulations.
